PTA 150 - Clinical Practicum I

4 Cr.
Contact Hours Per Week: 12 Lab

This initial clinical exposure will provide students with hands-on application of the skills acquired during the first academic year of the program. Students are assigned to a clinical facility, typically in Western New York, at the discretion of the Direcotr of Education, and dependent upon the availability of clinical sites. Students will complete six weeks of full-time (37-40 hours/week) clinical education. Supervision is provided directly by either licensed physical therapists or certified physical therapist assistants employed at the clinical site.

Pre-Requisites: PTA 130, PTA 131L, BIO 214, BIO 214L
