MAS 231 - Massage Practicum: Additional Clinical Applications

Contact Hours Per Week: 9 Clinical

Under the supervision of the clinical instructor, students apply advanced massage skills working with clients from the community in a clinical setting on campus. The clinic assists students in enhancing communication and clinical critical thinking. Additionally, students develop skills in performing intake interviews and assessments, creating treatment plans, and assessing outcomes. Restricted to MAS students.
Pre-Requisites: MAS 116, MAS 116L, MAS 219, MAS 219L, MAS 230
Concurrent Requirement: Pre-requisites that may be met concurrently: MAS 215, MAS 218, MAS 218L
