MUS 112 - ST: Guitar Class

1 Cr.
Guitar Class is a course for those wishing to play the guitar for personal enjoyment. The course offers a-hands on approach to playing the guitar. It is an introduction to the techniques of basic electrical and acoustic guitar playing for guitar and bass with emphasis on popular music styles to include Rock, Folk and Blue. Reading notation and the exploration of open and moveable chord structure will be covered, as well as simple accompaniment patterns. Students must provide their own instruments.((Usually offered in the Fall and Spring semesters.))
