OFT 113 - Beginning Desktop Publishing

1 Cr.
This course is designed as an advanced course in word processing or an initial course in desktop publishing. It will offer advanced word processing functions and publishing design techniques used for desktop publishing. Functions such as typography applications, special symbols, column manipulation, line alignment guidelines, ruled line applications, page design with graphics, macro formatting, and business forms with styles may be introduced. Also introduced will be design techniques for common desktop documents such as newsletters, brochures, and flyers.(Usually offered Fall and Spring semesters.)

Pre-Requisites: OFT 112 or permission of the instructor.
