PTA 230 - Pediatrics

2 Cr.

Topics of this course include infant and child typical and atypical growth and development, acquisition of motor milestones, selected developmental disabilities commonly seen in pediatric physical therapy, physical therapy in schools, orthotics, adaptive equipment, measures of functional status and change. This is a three week modular course which begins at the start of the semester.((Usually offered Spring semester. ))
