MUS 228 - Introduction to Jazz Guitar

This course is an introduction to the basics of jazz guitar. Chord/scale relationships, drop two chordal inversions, navigating changes, analysis of songs, awareness of major figures in the idiom, developing efficient practice habits, and improvisational vocabulary will be explored.
Pre-Requisites: MUS 125 and MUS 126 or permission of the instructor
