MUS 172 - Written Theory II

3 Cr.
Contact Hours Per Week: 3 Lec.

This course is a continuation of MUS 171: Written Theory I. The course will focus on additional aspects of tonal harmony: harmonic progression including cadences, diatonic seventh chords, modulations, non-chord tones, period form and an introduction to chromaticism through style analysis.

Reserved for music majors or permission of Music Department Coordinator.
