PTA 220 - Clinical Medicine I

Contact Hours Per Week: 1 Lec.

Investigation of pathology, pharmacology and other medical management of cardiac, vascular, integumentary, pulmonary, and endocrine diagnoses commonly seen in physical therapy clinical practice. Includes burn injury and other wounds, diabetes, and amputation. This is a five week modular course which begins the eleventh week of the semester.

Pre-Requisites: Pre-requisites that may be met concurrently: PTA 150, PTA 210, PTA 211L, PTA 221L, PTA 226, and BIO 215
