MUS 237 - Jazz Combo IV

A continuation of MUS 236, Jazz Combo III. An instrumental ensemble that performs stage band literature from the 1920s to the present. Students learn the basics of several Jazz styles, techniques, phrasing, and articulations. Students provide their own instruments. The ensemble is open to non-music majors and music majors. (Usually offered in Fall and Spring semesters..)
