PHA 250 - General Pharmacology

3 Cr.

A survey course designed to meet the needs of health professionals or other interested student who wishes to gain an understanding of the principles of pharmacology. Major topics will include: Legal regulations, prescriptions, calculations, interactions and uses of drugs and chemotherapeutic agents for anti infective therapy and cancer treatment, as well as toxicology. (Usually offered in Fall and Spring semesters..)
Pre-Requisites: BIO 213 or permission of the instructor.
