ANI 103 - Introduction to 2D Animation

3 Cr.


Explore and implement the principles of animation, such as timing and spacing, squash and stretch, exaggeration, volume control and overlapping action.  Traditional animation techniques of hand-drawn imagery, pencil-testing, clean-up, and coloring are presented.  Digital graphics and animation software is also explored.  Open to non-majors.  Usually offered in the Spring semester.
Pre-Requisites: ART 105
