ANI 104 - Introduction to 3D Computer Animation3 Cr.
Contact Hours Per Week: 6 Lab
Students learn the organizational structure of the interface of Autodesk Maya., along with basic three-dimensional modeling techniques using NURBS, polygons and subdivision surfaces. Fundamental lighting, shading, texturing and rendering techniques are also covered. Students will apply knowledge of the principles of animation to a three-dimensional environment and implement basic key-framing skills to create more technically advanced computer animations. Open to non-majors.
