THA 181 - Fundamentals of Theatrical Drafting

3 Cr.
Contact Hours Per Week: 1 Lec., 4 Lab.
This course will give the student the tools and knowledge to read, understand and create theatrical draftings. Topics covered will include tools, standards, basic techniques, orthographic projection, specialized techniques, computer drafting, design and shop drawing overview, and the portfolio project. This course will adhere to the USITT scenic design and technical production graphic standard as well as the USITT-recommended practice for theatrical lighting design graphics.
Pre-Requisites: THA 107 or permission of instructor
