MAT 108 - Math for Childhood Education I3 Cr. Contact Hours Per Week: 3 Lec.
This course is designed for the liberal arts student who is interested in childhood education. Students will study elementary mathematics without the use of a calculator. Topics include problem solving; elementary set theory; the whole numbers; functions; numeration and computation; number theory; integers; fractions and rational numbers; decimals and real numbers. Usually offered Fall semester days and Spring semester evenings Pre-Requisites: Equivalent of MAT 023 or higher
