ECE 207 - Early Childhood Education: Infants & Toddlers

Contact Hours Per Week: 3 Lec.

This course introduces students to the unique wonders of the youngest children in early childhood education using a broad overview of the history of early childhood theories, models, and approaches. Students will become familiar with the developmental needs of and program requirements for infants and toddlers. Students will plan developmentally appropriate activities to use with these age groups and implement them in a field placement. Special attention is given to the assessment of young children.
