CRJ 205 - Constitutional Law

3 Cr.

We are now in the second century of our adoption of the Constitution and its Bill of Rights. Debate about the meaning of the constitution and how it should be interpreted has become a regular part of the criminal justice dynamics. Intelligent practitioners and citizens need to know about the constitutional process and our protected civil rights. The purpose of the course is to learn about our rights, their content, and the historical struggles and resultant social changes that are intertwined. (Usually offered Fall and Spring semesters.)
