ESL 026 - English as a Second Language/Writing

3 Cr.

This course is designed to help English as a Second Language students to improve their understanding and use of standard English grammar. Students will practice recognizing tense markers, word order and definite and indefinite articles by studying specific models. They will also practice writing these forms on specifically assigned topics and free-writing.

Pre-Requisites: Score below 75 on the COMPASS ESL Grammar/Usage Test.
