SSC 101 - College Success: Social Sciences

1 Cr.

The student’s success in college will be increased by assisting the student in obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary to reach his/her educational objectives.  The following topics will be addressed as they relate to student success within the Social Science Curricula :  Orientation to the College and its support services, the College catalog, time management and study skills, library research skills, problem solving, goal setting, esteem and stress management strategies.  (Usually offered Fall and Spring semesters.)
