NUR 237 - Health Assessment

3 Cr.
Contact Hours Per Week: 3 Lec.
Designed to expand the nurse’s knowledge, skills and techniques in eliciting a health history; performing physical assessments; recognizing normal and deviations from normal; and recording data accurately, concisely and clearly. The emphasis is on the skill of performing a systematic health assessment of adults and children, incorporating developmental principles and socio-cultural aspects. Restricted to Nursing Students or Graduate Nurse
Usually offered Fall semester
Pre-Requisites: BIO 214, BIO 214L, NUR 112, NUR 115 or graduate from RN Program
