ECE 212 - Literacy & Language Development in Early Childhood

This course explores how young children acquire language and early literacy skills from birth through age five. Students learn developmentally appropriate practices for supporting oral language, vocabulary, phonological awareness, early writing, storytelling, and pre-reading foundations using play-based approaches.
