MAS 230 - Massage Practicum: Clinical Applications

3 Cr.
Contact Hours Per Week: 9 Clinical

Under the supervision of the clinical instructor, students apply previously acquired massage skills working with clients from the community in a clinical setting on campus. The clinic assists students in enhancing communication and critical thinking. Additionally, students develop skills in intake interviews and assessments, creating treatment plans, and assessing outcomes. Restricted to MAS students.
Pre-Requisites: MAS 114, MAS 115, MAS 115L, MAS 130
Concurrent Requirement: Pre-requisites that may be met concurrently: MAS 116, MAS 116L, MAS 219, MAS 219L
