ART 123 - American Art

3 Cr.
Contact Hours Per Week: 3 Lec.
A survey of American painting, sculpture, and architecture from the pre-Colonial days through to the 20th century, tracing styles, artists, and monuments of western art.
Usually offered Fall and Spring semester
Pre-Requisites: ENG 099, AAC 042, ENG 088, or waiver through placement
General Education: Meets SUNY requirement for The Arts (ARTS) and for Humanities (HUMN). No course used to satisfy the Humanities requirement may be used to satisfy another category.
