ART 133 - Ceramics I

3 Cr.
Contact Hours Per Week: 6 Lab
A technical and aesthetic exploration of the ceramic medium. Beginning wheel, hand building and glaze demonstrations will be given along with discussions about current clay and glaze techniques. Periodic lectures on historic significance of ceramics and its evolution. Regular attendance required and extra work in the studio is encouraged.
